Michael E. Erickson, inspired by a comparative lack of Light Utility
Helicopter services in the Central Florida region, seized upon an initiative to
establish XL Aviation. XL Aviation quickly became certified under the
Orlando Flight Standards District Office in 2003 while Mr. Erickson recruited
talent from a variety of backgrounds and conducted extensive market
research. The original small office in Maitland and Sanford expanded to a
centralized location in Orlando and basing out of the Spacecoast Regional
Airport in Titusville. Now, we have a robust staff able to be called upon to
support aerial surveys, media coverage, humanitarian support, and
corporate VIP and demonstration support. Our safety record is beyond
reproach and we are able to tailor our capabilities to the customers' needs.
Previous Ventures
Our company has truly excelled at creating a wide base of capabilities
designed to tailor to the unique needs of southeast United States.
Hurricanes devastate this beautiful area every season and we are here to
provide survey, logistical, and recovery support. We have done so from
2004 - 2005 for Hurricanes Charley (Florida), Katrina (Mississippi), Rita
(Louisiana), and Wilma (Florida). Our previous experience makes our
company a logical choice to help state or federal agencies as well as
non-profit organizations interested in helping these shattered areas recover.
XL Aviation again came to the rescue in May 2006 as wildfires ravished
parts of central and northern Florida and firefighters were without key lift
support. We were selected by Bell Helicopter to serve as their Middle East
sales demonstration team. We look forward to future collaboration with Bell.
In addition to sales and aiding those in need, we have also been able to
mount cameras and provide support to local news channels in Lake Mary
and help conduct aerial surveys of Florida's abundant and intricate
waterways.
Current Ventures
We are currently preparing for our up coming trip to assist Bell Helicopter in
North Africa! We are looking forward to meeting our potential customers in
Algeria, Tunisia and Libya. For more information concerning this trip,

We look forward to the other business opportunities this provides and
